And it's time. I've been playing music since I was about 5 years old. I remember my brother sitting me down to show me a straight beat on a drum kit. I admit, he had to force me to do it. But I'm so glad he did. It opened up so much joy that I would have for my life.
I began learning guitar a few years later. I didn't start lessons or anything like that. My dad picked up an acoustic from the local pawn shop and left it at that. It was all good though. I picked up a Mel Bays book and started learning.
The rest, you could say, is history. I've played in several bands and did some travelling and enjoyed every minute of it.
Currently, I'm playing for me and me alone. I've fallen in love with it all over again. I started recording original music and thought that it would be great to have it out there in the world. Even if no one else has an interest, I figure my kids or grandkids might get a kick out of hearing dad play guitar or sing on a track.
Thanks.
